Bend Ale Trail passports in Bend, OR

The Bend Ale Trail features over 30 tasting rooms in seven territories and includes breweries, distilleries, cideries, and other fermented goodness in Bend, Redmond, Sisters, Prineville, and Sunriver. While we encourage everyone to taste the beers and spend money at every location, please know that no purchase is necessary for someone to check into or receive a passport stamp at your location. Who is eligible to be on the Bend Ale Trail?

Breweries

Any brewery may join the Bend Ale Trail that meets the following criteria:

  • The brewery brews beer in Bend, Redmond, Sisters, Prineville, or Sunriver.
  • The brewery has a tasting room in Bend, Redmond, Sisters, Prineville, or Sunriver that is open regular hours.
  • The brewery has longevity.

Adding breweries to the Bend Ale Trail happens twice a year at the discretion of Visit Bend. Please note: no new breweries will be added to the paper passport until a new print run is required. Visit Bend will provide a sign that must be hung in the tasting room in an obvious location, rack cards, a rubber stamp for stamping paper passports, and placement on the web-based app.

Drinkable Diversions

Distilleries, cideries, wineries, and kombucha brewers are eligible to join the Bend Ale Trail as a Drinkable Diversion. They must meet the following criteria:

  • Distilled spirits, cider, and kombucha must be made in Bend, Redmond, Sisters, Prineville, or Sunriver.
  • Distilleries, cideries, and kombucha brewers must have a tasting room in Bend, Redmond, Sisters, Prineville, or Sunriver that is open to the public and has regular hours.
  • Wineries with tasting rooms in Bend, Redmond, Sisters, Prineville, or Sunriver may be eligible if they are official tasting rooms of a single winery that makes wine in Oregon.

Adding locations to Drinkable Diversions happens twice a year at the discretion of Visit Bend. Please note: no new locations will be added to the paper passport until a new print run is required. Notes

The Bend Ale Trail has a designated driver program. Stamps go on a special page in the paper passport.

Visit Bend reserves the right to remove any location from the Bend Ale Trail for any reason, including complaints from visitors, non-visible signs, lack of regular tasting room hours, etc..

Bend Ale Trail Month — November!

Visit Bend does a big marketing push to support the Bend Ale Trail in November. Participants can receive extra prizes, including swag from breweries. Please get in touch if you have beanies, hats, tees, or other swag you would like to give away during Bend Ale Trail month.
